Pure Vegetable Store – New Social Enterprise
CSRD has commenced a new social enterprise – SusuXanh vegetable store. Chemicals used in agriculture can poison plants, soil, groundwater and your family but CSRD sources produce from farmers who grow according to FIVE NOs:
- No herbicides
- No chemical fertilizer residues
- No growth stimulants
- No preservatives
- No GMOs (Genetically modified organism)
CSRD is also working with a range of local farmers to help them learn new techniques to produce safe vegetables and fruit without the use of chemicals.

New – Customised Study Tours now available
Due to requests from a number of Universities and Educational centres, CSRD has organised a series of new study tours. Participants are able to visit a range of different project sites, depending on their particular interest, including mangrove regeneration, biogas installations, aquaculture, hydropower dams, organic farming, composting and climate change mitigation.
Students from a range of backgrounds benefit from seeing projects frist-hand and are able to understand the issues faced by many communities. Study areas include: Climate Change, Aquaculture, International Development, Tourism Development, Cultural Studies, Environmental Science, Social Science (Development Studies), Politics, Agriculture and Forestry, Rural Planning and Geography.
