Project Location: Phong Binh, Phong Chuong Communes, Phong Dien District, Thua Thien Hue Province
Number of Beneficiaries:
– 914 people (353 males, 561 females), including 145 school aged children and 30 orphaned children, from 400 poor and near-poor households in the two communes will directly benefit from the project.
– Additionally, approximately 2,000 people will also benefit when they evacuate and use the generators and clean water tanks equipped for the community evacuation houses by the project.
Expected outputs:
– The selected households affected by the floods in the two communes will receive essential supplies, particularly food, and clean water.
– Women, children, and orphaned children in households affected by the disaster will receive necessary and timely support, ensuring healthcare and the provision of learning materials.
– Certain community evacuation houses will be equipped with generators and freshwater tanks to ensure basic living conditions for people evacuating from the floods.
Relief items:
– 400 package of food such as rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, and seasoning powder for 400 poor and near-poor households.
– 400 emergency kits comprising sanitary napkins, toothpaste, toothbrushes, torches, whistles, washing powder, medicines, blankets, mosquito nets, and 20-litre water tanks.
– 30 cartons of milk for orphaned children from poor and near poor households
– 145 packages of Pens and notebooks for school age children from poor and near poor households
– 6 generators and 6 1000-liter clean water tanks for 6 community evacuation houses
