Promoting Gender Equality and Enhancing the Position of Women Working as Waste Pickers in Hue City

Project Name: Promoting Gender Equality and Enhancing the Position of Women Working as Waste Pickers in Hue City.
Project duration: 20.10.2023 – 30.06.2024
Through continuous implementation activities, the Project aims to foster a shift in awareness and behavior among the women participating and their family members regarding gender equality. Specifically, it seeks to make men understand the need to share household responsibilities with women, thereby elevating the status of women both within the family and in society. Men should perceive their role as sharing burdens rather than merely helping women
with household chores. The concept of balancing work outside the home to earn living with household responsibilities; applies not only to women but also to men as well.
