A Luoi, a majestic mountainous area, is located at the western end of Thua Thien Hue province. That is where stories about struggle and rise were written. Facing difficult circumstances, inside the imperfect people here, there are always burning dreams and aspirations. The dream of a full and sustainable life on the land where one was born, of aspirations and sharing, of the journey of growing together for the whole community in the mountainous district of A Luoi. Let’s look back at the struggle and rise of the three main characters, Ms. Ho Thi Thau, Mr. Ho Van Thang, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Ly, in the documentary story “Light in the highlands of A Luoi”.
Thanks to the constant efforts, support from CSRD and the desire to rise from each character, we have witnessed significant changes from the three characters. Ms. Ho Thi Thau has created a successful fish farming model, bringing benefits to her family and the community. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Ly has helped her son become more confident and progress in studying and communication, as well as participate and perform well in social work from village to commune level. Mr. Ho Van Thang has created an effective fish farming group and contributed to the economic development of the community, ……
These stories show us that no matter the difficult circumstances, with desire and effort, anything is possible. Support from CSRD has played an important role in promoting the development of the characters. This highlights how collaboration and support are vital in building community and achieving sustainable success.
Life is a journey, and with determination and patience, we can overcome all difficulties and create positive change, with love, support and solidarity. Light will appear anywhere, to anyone who always looks forward, towards positive changes for themselves, their families and the community.
